António Fontes

António Duarte Delgado Fontes
Bachelor of Engineering from the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto, being currently the manager and coordinator of GR ACADEMY. He has extensive experience in hygiene and safety at work, repair of wind turbine blades, corrosion protection, as well as in working at heights, rope access, rescue and evacuation in confined spaces accumulated during thousands of hours of work in the more varied industrial environments.
With more than 10 years as a coach, he has a postgraduate degree in Management and Training Coordination and is one of the few Portuguese eligible as an IRATA Instructor and Advisor.
He is also responsible for implementing the different management systems and certifications of GR ACADEMY.
João Silva

João Carlos Jácome da Silva
Bachelor of Nursing from the Viseu Polytechnic Institute and specialized in Surgical Medical Nursing from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS). He currently attends, in the Cooperative of Higher Polytechnic and University Education (CESPU), the Executive Master in Health Management and Administration.
He is an emergency and intensive care nurse at the Porto Hospital Center – Hospital de Santo António and BLS/AED instructor. He has nine years of experience as a first aid coach and basic life support.
Joaquim Sousa

Joaquim Fernando Rodrigues de Sousa
He attended the Bachelor of Civil Engineering at the University of Aveiro, which was then complemented by several other trainings, including Search and Rescue in Collapsed Structures, Control of Dangerous Accidents and Work Safety at Height.
He’s a firefighter in the Fire Department of Sapadores do Porto and Emergency Consultant – Fire Safety in EFACEC.
High professional experience has allowed him to become a coach in a variety of emergency areas, including wide angle rescue and firefighting techniques.
Samuel Ribeiro

Samuel Tomás Pinheiro Ribeiro
Certified as Competent Technician in Inspection and Repair of Blades by Consultation Training (United Kingdom). He also completed the Working and Rescue at Heights , Safe Entry to Confined Spaces, GWO BST and IRATA level 3 courses.
With more than two decades of experience in industrial maintenance and access to cables, he has been dedicated since 2012 to the wind industry.
The high technical and pedagogical experience allowed him to become one of the most experienced trainers in GWO BST and Blade Repair.
Nuno Tavares

Nuno Filipe Vilela Tavares
Graduated in Nursing from the Health School of Vale do Sousa, has a high experience in basic life care and first aid.
After joining Atlanticare – Health Services, he joined the Emergency Medical Team of the Dragão/Dragão Caixa Stadium, with whom he collaborates to this day.
He attended the BLS/AED Instructor Course, being a GWO coach since 2015.
Rui Vieira

Rui Paulo Albuquerque Vieira
Graduated in Nursing from the Nursing School of the Red Cross of Oliveira de Azeméis, he complemented his knowledge with professional training at BLS and ALS.
He’s a nurse of intensive and emergency care, local manager of Risks, Hygiene and Safety and instructor of Basic and Advanced Life Support at the Hospital Center of Porto – Hospital de Santo António.
He has high experience and skills in first aid training, enabling his role as an BLS instructor.
